DIY masks for the bride


Every bride dreams to have spotless skin and glow within. It's like, literally we will trade anything and everything to get the perfect skin ready for the special day. 1. Cinnamon with honey and yogurt mask
This is useful for acne prone skin as honey reduces irritation and redness, whereas cinnamon heals the skin by bringing oxygen and blood to the problem area. Also yogurt is one powerful ingredient that brightens the skin and gives you glowing skin as a bonus benefit.

Recipe - 2 table spoons of yogurt, 2 table spoons of organic honey and 1 table spoon of cinnamon powder. Mix them well and apply gently on your face. After 10 to 15 minutes rinse off with warm water.

2. Carrot and tomato mask
Carrot is rich in Vitamin A, minerals and anti oxidant which helps to hydrate your skin. Also active vitamin C in carrot helps to maintain the elasticity of the skin and prevents wrinkles. While tomato is full of refreshing elements that reduces sun burn and makes your skin look fresh.

Recipe - 3 table spoons of grated carrot and 2 table spoons of tomato juice. Mix them well and apply on your face and neck. After 15 to 20 minutes rinse off with warm water.

3. Green Mask
This green mask has aloe vera, green tea and cucumber which are the core ingredients to skin nourishing. Aloe Vera and cucumber are full of minerals, vitamin C and E which hydrates the skin, also reduces acne scars and excess oil so that you don't look like a grease ball. Whereas, green tea reduces puffiness, dark-circles and  rejuvenate the skin. Use this mix to deep clean or as cooling toner.

Recipe - In a blender take equal amount of both cucumber and aloe vera gel. add 1 cup of brewed green tea (any choice) and blend it untill it has medium thick consistency. Pour it into ice cube tray and freeze it.
